About Us

Chanakya Chess Club (C.C.C) was started under the able hands of Dhananjay Ramraje and Geeta Punjabi in the year 2003.The motto since the inception has been “Learn with Fun”. True to this we have been following it in our coaching as well as during the tournaments.

Dhananjay Ramraje, already a seasoned player & also being the Secretary of Bombay Chess Association has a great vision to groom the young budding masters. Having a core team of extremely efficient & experienced coaches, C.C.C nurtures them in the right module.

Chanakya Chess Club (C.C.C) is one of the top clubs of Mumbai in organizing tournaments and conducting coaching. C.C.C is the only club in India and Asia to organize U-6 regularly.

play the game in the spirit of the game

As part of its ongoing process to harness and tap talent at the grass root level, CCC is organizing events in various schools and colleges and different pockets, in and around Mumbai. Currently there are more than 900 players & more than 15 schools learning under our banner.

The objective is to spread knowledge about the game & also to tap talent at the grass root level.
