Chanakya Chess Club would like to Congratulate all our Students for their Well-Deserved Success in State Schools championship 2019, Aurangabad
Held from 27th to 30th Aug.
The state Championship witnessed 623 brightest minds competing diligently with full commitment.

Prisha clinched 2nd prize in Under 8 Girls category & Veer bagged 4th prize in Under 10 open category!

Another Gem in the Crown for Chanakya Chess Club

Maharashtra State Under 9 – 2019
1. Maharashtra State Under 7 champion 2019, 7-year-old Siddhant Bharti again delivered his best to grab 9th Prize in the tournament and 1st prize in Under 7 category.
Siddhant scored 7/9. Siddhant is just 7 years old and bagged a prize in Under 9 state tournament.
Incredible performance !!

2. India’s no. 2 (FIDE rating wise) 8-year-old Prisha Kesarwani with rating of 1203 scored 6.5/9 and stood 5th in the tournament.
She played against 6 rated players out of 7 and scored 4 points against them!
3. 6.5-year-old Hriday Dhinwa scored 5.5/9 points and stood 5th in under 7 category!
4. 7-year-old Arjav Kedia scored 5/9 points to bag 9th prize in under 7 category.
5. 5.5-year-old Mishka Mehta scored 4/9 points to stand 6th in Under 7 category. It’s a big achievement for Mishka to get 6th prize at the age of 5.5
CCC congratulates all the students who did well and other students who participated in the tournament.
Commendable efforts by the students, their parents and the CCC coaches team!!!

One more excellent performance by Shashank, Arjun and Siddhant!

1. Siddhant bagged 1st prize in Under 7 category in 2nd Goa International Open Grandmasters chess tournament 2019 – Category B.
Siddhant also gained +53 points to his rating and took it to 1116.

2. Arjun Nair had an amazing tournament. Arjun gained +88 points to reach 1258 live rating. Arjun has gained around +176 points in last 2 tournaments.

3. Shashank scored 6.5/10 points in Mayors cup category C and stood 3rd in Under 10 category. He also gained around 49 points to make it 1290+ rating.

CCC congratulates all the students who participated in Under 7 NATIONALS, Kolkata and performed well.
